Community

Gemma has a long-term commitment to Special Virtuosi, a weekly SEND music group based at the RNCM. She has been volunteering there since 2008 and is now Project Leader and Tutor Coordinator.

She also appears as part of Manchester Camerata’s ‘In the Community’ work and particularly the ‘Music in Mind’ project which sees instrumentalists working alongside a Music Therapist on long-term projects embedded within local care homes.

Gemma has links with other organisations in this capacity too, such as Orchestras for All and Music Action International.
