Gemma has been a member of Manchester Camerata since 2011 and the BBC Philharmonic since 2013. Both roles are part-time and complement each other well, still allowing time for freelance appearances, most regularly with the Royal Northern Sinfonia and Southwell Festival Sinfonia.
